Masterclass Terms & Conditions

The Attendee is responsible for carefully reviewing all Terms & Conditions, and to fully understand the agreements contained therein. By registering the Attendee acknowledges and agrees to all Terms & Conditions:


“Attendee”: Ticket Buyer listed on the Registration Information form on Eventbrite for the Paper Florists Masterclass;

“Masterclass”: Masterclass being held on April 9, 10, 11, and 12, 2019 offered by the Masterclass Provider;

“Masterclass Provider”: Pink and Posey, LLC. operating as “The Paper Florists Collective” for the purposes of this Masterclass;

“The Paper Florists Collective”: Pink and Posey, LLC.

“Vendors”: Any third party service providers hired by Pink and Posey, LLC, i.e. Subcontractors.


Pink and Posey strives to provide an inclusive experience once Attendees arrive to the masterclass venue. Pink and Posey is only responsible for the inclusions expressly listed on the “The Details” section of the Masterclass web listing. Pink and Posey reserves the right to make substitutions of any included masterclass elements.

Attendance & Participation. Only one (1) Masterclass seat is reserved per registration form. Masterclass seat is reserved for (1) attendee only, please do not bring friends/spouse/children to the masterclass. Attendees are responsible for making all travel arrangements to arrive to the venue or designated meeting point. Attendees are responsible for their own participation in the masterclass activities, and no full or partial refunds will be issued based on Attendee’s chosen level of participation. The schedule may be adjusted to meet the needs of the group as a whole, at the sole discretion of Pink and Posey, including the change in or replacement of scheduled masterclass activities.

Meals & Refreshments. Breakfast, lunch & refreshments will be provided during the course of the masterclass, by the vendors hired by Pink and Posey. Attendees are responsible for providing a complete list of dietary restrictions at time of registration, and for notifying Pink and Posey a minimum of 30 days prior to the start of the masterclass of any changes or additions. Attendees understand that neither Pink and Posey nor the Masterclass Vendors hired by Pink and Posey can guarantee allergen free environments, but will take reasonable efforts to prevent cross contamination and exposure to known allergens and dietary restrictions listed by all Attendees.


Attendees are responsible for all travel arrangements and related expenses unless otherwise noted in their masterclass/course/class description.

Travel Insurance. Travel Insurance is not included in the Masterclass Fee, but is highly recommended. It is the responsibility of the Attendee to understand the policies of their selected insurance plan and ensure adequate coverage in case of natural disasters, illness, flight cancellation, and other unforeseen events; including personal circumstances or Masterclass cancellation.


If Attendee has selected to use the Payment Plan option, if available, for their Masterclass Fee Balance, they are responsible for clearly reading the Payment schedule on the Ticket Description and making payment on schedule. The Attendee will receive a code for each subsequent installment payment(s) which will be sent to their email address provided by the Attendee on the Registration Information form on Eventbrite for the Paper Florists Masterclass. If the Attendee does not pay the installment balance within the time set out in the Ticket Description for that said installment, it will be deemed a non-payment and Pink and Posey reserves the right to re-sell the Masterclass seat, without any refund of prior payments to the Attendee.


Attendees are responsible to verify their ability to attend the selected Masterclass, including travel costs and restrictions, visa requirements, personal commitments, etc. prior to registering for the Masterclass. All payments towards the Masterclass Fee are non-refundable. If Attendees must cancel their attendance of the Masterclass, they will not be require to pay any further monies towards their balance due.

Pink and Posey has no obligation to attempt to re-sell the Masterclass seat to fill the void created by the Attendee’s cancellation, or non-payment of the balance due, and Pink and Posey will not be obligated to refund any monies Attendee has previously paid towards the total Masterclass Fee. Attendee will not receive a refund of prior payments in case of cancellation or non-payment. For example, if Pink and Posey is able to secure another guest, then Pink and Posey may choose, at its sole discretion, to refund all (or a portion of) Attendee payments made to date.

Masterclass Cancellation. In the unlikely case that Pink and Posey must cancel the Masterclass, all payments will be refunded within 90 days of the notice of cancellation. Pink and Posey is not responsible for any personal expenses assumed by the Attendee in preparation of the Masterclass, including travel costs, hotel accommodations, etc.


Release. Attendee understands that Pink and Posey, Vendors and Attendees take photographs and make video or audio recordings for promotional purposes. Attendee does hereby grant and convey unto Pink and Posey and any Vendors engaged by Pink and Posey, all right, title, and interest in any and all photographic images and video or audio recordings made by Pink and Posey or Vendors, during the Attendee’s Activities with Pink and Posey, including, but not limited to, any royalties, proceeds, or other benefits derived from such photographs or recordings.


Attendee understands that by registering for a Pink and Posey Masterclass, they are releasing Pink and Posey, Inc. (Pink and Posey) from any and all liability and legal responsibility for injury, damage or death connected in any way with Attendee’s participation in the Activities, and Attendee agrees not to initiate any legal action against Pink and Posey for personal injury, damage or death. Attendee understands that this release is also binding on Attendee’s personal representatives, heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns.

Attendee acknowledges that they understand that Activities may include some physical activities, such as walking (including uphill/stairs), holding/carrying up to 30 lbs., using ladders, etc., involves using sharp tools and materials (such as floral clippers, loppers, chicken wire, etc.), working with a wide variety of plants & wildlife (both known and unknown varieties), and will include optional enjoyment activities (such as swimming, hiking, biking, etc).

Attendee hereby freely, voluntarily, and without duress executes this Release under the following terms:

Assumption of Risk. The Attendee understands that the Activities include work that may be hazardous to the Attendee, including, but not limited to: hiking, foraging plants and transporting florals, and transportation to and from the activity sites. Attendee understands that Pink and Posey makes available a variety of Activities and Attendee is not required to perform any Activity they deems too dangerous or is otherwise unwilling or unable to perform. Attendee hereby expressly and specifically assumes the risk of injury or harm in the Activities.

Release of Liability. The Attendee agrees to release and forever discharge Pink and Posey from any and all liability for personal injury, damage or death, to any person including Attendee, and for any and all loss, injury or damage, however caused, whether or not such injury or damage is caused by, or can be attributed to the acts, failure to act, or negligence of Pink and Posey or any other Attendee.

Medical Treatment. The Attendee does hereby release and forever discharge Pink and Posey from any claim whatsoever which arises or may hereafter arise on account of any first aid, treatment, or service rendered in connection with the Attendee’s Activities with Pink and Posey.

Other. The Attendee expressly agrees that this Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Washington, and that this Release shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington. Attendee agrees that in the event that any clause or provision of this Release shall be held to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such clause or provision shall not otherwise affect the remaining provisions of this Release which shall continue to be enforceable.
